 I believe a woman must know, love, and honor herself before she can know, love, and honor you as her sister. When this transformation happens in women the spirit of love, collaboration, support and celebration becomes the norm. This is what it truly means to be of like mind and like spirit. I can say with confidence that being in Sisterhood has changed my life in so many wonderful ways. Competition has been replaced with collaboration, gossip and jealousy have been overruled with compassion, empathy and understanding. Scarcity and the not enough for all of us mentality no longer reside in me and I operate with an Abundance Mindset knowing that there is more than enough for us all to be Successful. Being a part of this amazing organization, has greatly enhanced my understanding of the meaning of the term Sisterhood in ways that I want every woman to Succeed. Being a sister not only means looking out for one another, but it means understanding each other’s stories and past experiences with some effort, empathy, and compassion, And, regardless of our pasts, we are all in the present together. When women are empowered, the entire community is empowered! Therefore, there is no community empowerment without women's empowerment which is why Sisterhood and Women Uniting is so Important.
